Ashley and Jim

Ashley’s color choices immediately reminded me of a favorite scene from Steel Magnolias…it MUST be read with your best southern “twang”…

Shelby: “My colors are Blush and Bashful”
Malynn: “Her colors are pink and pink!”
Shelby: “My colors are Blush and Bashful, Mama. I have chosen two shades of pink, one is much deeper than the other…and the bridesmaid dresses, they are really beautiful.  The ceremony will be too…”
Maline “That sanctuary looks like it’s been hosed down with Pepto Bismal!”
Shelby “I https://buycbdproducts.com pink, Mama.  Pink, is my signature color!”

Ashley and Jim were married in a beautiful Catholic Church, so although the sanctuary was not draped in pink, all the details were…and I loved it!

Her “something blue” was worn for practicing the first dance before the die had dried, which gave them character if you ask me.
Her dress was so pretty…

Love, love, love the rose shaped feathers.

All the getting ready resulted in this awesomeness:

Her little flower girl was so precious and looked absolutely adorable.

and check out this little man…are you kidding me?

What a sweet moment when her dad saw her for the first time right before walking her down the aisle. Not gonna lie, there was a little something in my eye.

Let the good times roll:

The flowers were done by my unbelievably talented friend Krissy McArthur of MCK Designs and they were AH-MAZ-ING.

It was officially summer in St. Louis on the day Ashley and Jim got married…hot, hot, hot. But their wedding party was great and we got some fun pics at Faust park on our way out to the reception.

Even the kids were troopers. This little ring bearer didn’t make it down the aisle but he was all smiles for the pics (which, is of course, what really matters:))…and, as already stated, the flower girl could not have been cuter.

…and then there was Ashley and Jim…high school sweethearts. Couldn’t be more adorable together:

hands down, favorite:

After we roasted in the park for a while, we grabbed a few pics of Jim and Ashley at Westport Plaza before the reception. I’m pretty sure Jim was over it by then, but he was SUCH a good sport and you can tell he digs his Bride!

these two are right up there on the favorites list:

At the reception, Ashley’s dad sang his toast to Ashley. A song called “sweet daughter of mine”…the sweeeeeeetest!

The dancing was fun…

…but perhaps the best part of the night…

um, twist my arm.
Dear Jim and Ashley, the words “sugar. coma.” could perhaps be used to best describe the morning after your wedding. Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day AND fill a goodie bag to boot! You two are so sweet together! I wish you many years filled with love, happiness, and all sorts of “goodies”.
