Erica + Jake ::: St. Louis Wedding
My sweet friend Erica got married this past weekend and I was truly honored that she allowed me to archive the day for them. Erica is absolutely as beautiful on the inside as she is out…
…which is clearly a whole lotta gorgeous…
…and after knowing her mom for approximately five seconds there was no mistaking where she gets both kinds of beauty.
They covered the something “old, borrowed, AND blue” all with one very special pendant tied to her flowers…and as they told the story I knew it was going to be a day full of meaninful elements…
…not to mention, tears. By the time these special ladies finished praying for their friend, her marriage, and the big day, there was not a dry eye to be found. So sweet.
Their ceremony was equally touching (one of the best wedding sermons I’ve ever heard–and I’ve been to more than my fair share of weddings)…
…ending with the most passionate wedding kiss ever.
I think it literally took her breath away (as evidenced by the picture on the left).
I love, love, love this picture of Erica with her two younger brothers. They call it the “oreo” 🙂

Warning: From here on out, there is a lot of kissing. I guess that first kiss sparked a fire and there was no going back.
I realized as I was going through their pics that I didn’t get nearly as many “traditional” photos of the two of them as I usually do…I blame them. They were just so darn cute and their love was so palpable, it just begged for interaction.

Their save-the-dates and invitations were the coolest and they had them on display at the reception.
I’ve never taken or kept as many dancing pictures as I did at this wedding, but one moment was more precious than the next and my camera just wouldn’t stop clicking…
