Jess and Jon {} St. Louis Wedding Photography

After shooting Jess and Jon’s engagement session (and reading their sweet messages back and forth on facebook leading up to their big day), I was SOOOOO excited about shooting their wedding.

I expected it to be a day full of laughter and love (which sadly is not true of every wedding), and it did not disappoint.

Jess has this Ah-mazing smile and you won’t see a “serious” pic in the bunch because she’s literally UN.ABLE to “smirk”. 🙂

A sweet note and the gift of Tom’s from Jon (…those babies came in handy as the day went on…)

Their ceremony was beautiful and quite possibly the best worship I’ve ever heard at a wedding…if I missed any “moments” it was unquestionably because I was lost in the music.

Throughout their relationship, these two could be found in this exact spot praying together…they wanted that to be a part of their big day and I’m so glad they did…love this pic!

The beautiful ladies….

…and the dapper dudes…

And…the beautiful couple. You two are seriously adorable. Seriously.

Favorite.

There’s that smile…told you it was contagious!

Though I don’t know him well, I can tell you there just aren’t many men out there like Jon…thoughtful and kind, fun and laid back, strong and steadfast…Jess is undoubtedly blessed!

Favorite #2. Love.

My view (on the left) and Krissy’s view (right). Love them both!

…and then off to Ted Drewes for some free ice cream…and some seriously good times.

The “bus gang”…(I think they miiiiiight be cheering because I promised this was the last picture they’d have to pose for…)

It wasn’t until this point in the day that I found out the beautiful maid of honor is actually Jess’s twin sister…needless to say, there were many stories to be told in her toast and she executed them perfectly!

I’m quite certain Jess’s cheeks hurt the next morning….

…and the father/daughter dance could. not. have. been. sweeter.

…and this this crazy thing happened that I’m still trying to process…it involved a surprised bride, some crazy groomsmen, a little Bieber Fever and a lot of funky dance moves…

…and clearly a good time was had by all.

This story will have many more beautiful chapters…I hope to get to capture some of them because it. was. a. blast!

Dear Jess and Jon: sometimes shooting a wedding is “work”…and other times it’s the most fun part of my week. Yours was the latter. Thanks for the privilege.

What beautiful, beautiful pictures. They made me smile the whole way through. It looks like a perfect day for a perfect couple. The very best to you both!

We are having a wedding celebration party at the Thaxton August 2nd to honor my daughter and soon-to-be husband. We are in the process of finding a photographer to take wonderful pictures of this evening and some photographs before the event, most likely outside in a beautiful park. They will be dressed in their wedding attire but there will be no ceremony, just reception and dancing.
Please let me know your availability and an estimate of your costs for such an event.
    Thank you.
