First Day of School {} Personal

Emery started asking about going back to school approximately 1 day after it ended in May…

…so needless to say she was one happy girl last week when she started back…

When Emery was two, I felt like people thought I was crazy for not sending her to “school” (term use loosely to describe 3 hours in the morning, twice a week)…

I thought she was so little and couldn’t imagine sending her off…

…Oh, how things change by kid #2…

…Adley is my “fiesty” one who prefers her own personal space and doesn’t exactly “play nice” with other kids (which is a kind way of saying she’s usually yelling “go away” or “don’t talk to me” while giving the stink eye).  I figured school would be good for her (and me 🙂 ) and much to my surprise, she LOVES it!

 …she was so proud of her new backpack!
