Little Ellie was just a little bitty bug back then and somehow, in the blink of these beautiful brown eyes, she is turning ONE…what a privilege it was to be there to capture her “cupcake smash”…
If you follow my blog at all, you know I am an insanely loyal fan of The Cup, my favorite local cupcake shop…I have yet to take an out-of-towner there who didn’t ponder moving here simply because their cupcakes are the shiz…
…but since we were far from home, Sara found us this adorable little shop in San Diego where they COULD. NOT. HAVE. BEEN. NICER. about letting us invade and set up a little photoshoot…
EVERY-STINKIN-THING about these pictures make me smile…from the first fist into the cupcake…
…to the sheer delight of realizing this miiiiiight be the best thing she’s ever tasted…
…to the double-fist-shoving-intensity with which she pounded down the cupcake…
what???
when she had polished off most of the cupcake, she was a firm enforcer of the “no crumb left behind policy”…
…and I think she was seriously pondering licking the plate at this point…
