Best of 2011 Newborns {} St. Louis Newborn Photography

The first week of life is like none other…the tiny toes, little hairs, perfect features…they’re gone in a flash. So it’s even a greater privilege than usual to be entrusted to capture it. I couldn’t be more proud of the images below:

Most of them were taken in my dining room…and I’m so thankful for friends and strangers alike that trusted my professionalism enough to look past the general mess of my house in order to allow me to capture these moments.

In November, thanks to the hard work of my sweet husband and his very talented friend Jeff, I officially opened my in-home newborn studio (located in the basement with great natural light) and I’m so excited to put it to good use in 2012!

I would be remiss if I didn’t give a shout out to my Ah-mazing newborn assistant (and dear friend) Bethany, who, in spite of her freezing cold hands, is invaluable in helping soothe, pose, and style newborn shots.
