The Best of 2010 {} Newborns

It’s true what they say about how the days crawl but the years fly…and this has never been more true for me than in 2010. On May 28th, 2010 Relic Photography was born (story here) and the rest of the year is kind of a blur…

I never dreamed that little ole’ me and my long time hobby/passion would so quickly become a business where the “demand” pushed the limits of supply and where the “work” literally breathed life into my soul.

I have been overwhelmed by the support of AH-MAZING friends who have become clients and the countless number of new clients…many of whom have become friends.

It seems fitting to cap off the year by remembering some of the highlights in pictures (Top 10 style).

So without further ado (and with my heartfelt thanks to each of you who allowed me to share in a few precious moments of your year)…

#10 The hands of one of my favorite people in the world holding the tiny feet of his sweet baby girl.

#9 My first attempt at twins…hardest. thing. I’ve. Ever. Shot. But so worth it.

#8 Nothing better than when you catch a smile.

#7 My very first newborn client. Sweet little Esther. I’m not gonna lie…I tried to steal her.

#6 Taken on the kitchen floor at his grammy’s house in an impromtu photo shoot. Note to self: never leave home without the camera.

#5 It took two hours (not lying) of rocking and feeding and singing and rocking and feeding to get him to sleep to capture this little Relic. Also worth it.

#4 Sweet, sweet Adele. She literally smiled through her whole session. I think it was because she loved me. 🙂

#3 Precious little Elliana. Love her name. Love her tiny, little toes. Love the sweet baby nose. Love, love, love this baby.

#2 Sweet baby Campbell gets the last two slots because, as hard as I tried, I just couldn’t narrow it down to one.
