Some of our nearest and dearest on the blog today…

I met Christi and Jeff before they knew each other and usually take the credit for setting them up (although Jeff swears he was interested well before I mentioned it!)…

…Jeff and Shane were roommates for a season and he DEFINITELY gets the credit for convincing Shane to take me back after I was dumb enough to break up with him…

…So it seems only fitting (since we have each other to thank for our eternal marital bliss 🙂 ) that Audrey (their oldest) and Emery are the same age and already besties…

…needless to say, the opportunity to take their pictures for Alexa’s 1st birthday was more than a privilege.

Alexa may possibly be the happiest baby I’ve ever photographed…she just smiled…

In between smiling, she was eating (much to her mother’s dismay) whatever she could get her hands on…I’m sure mulch has some protein, right?

Audrey was having a great time too and is quite the ham when she wants to be 🙂

I don’t think I could pick a favorite from this session, but if there was a gun to my head, I think this might be it!

Dear Jeff and Christi: please tell me the secret to having such cooperative children during a photoshoot…mine are NEVER like this!!! Much love to you guys…and happy birthday Alexa (how has it possibly been a whole year already???).
