The other night we went out for dinner (which is pretty standard since I suck at and practically despise cooking) and I had just come from a photo-shoot so I happened to have my camera in tow.

Next to the restaurant (…well, let’s be honest, it was Quiznos…) was this…

…and I vowed to myself to bring my camera along more often for these little everyday real life moments.

In case you didn’t know, that’s how you do an owl kiss (you’re just supposed to be nose-to-nose with someone, but that doesn’t stop Emery). She’s all about the owl kiss these days.

I’m so thankful for these sweet baby girls and for the gift of watching them discover the world.

Dear God: thank you for everyday life. It’s such a blessing.
